Be Seen. Be Heard.
Be Empowered.
Medicine has come a long way in the past 100 years. However, we found that success by discovering how to deal with illnesses as they presented themselves clinically. As a board-certified emergency medicine physician, I am quite aware that such a reactionary approach is no longer acceptable. I have seen patient after patient who is much closer to harms way than they believe. Often many of these patients have no idea. They try to eat healthy, apply moderation to social behaviors, get to the gym or walk a few times a week. However, it is clear that very few people have taken a serious look into their own familial and personal risk factors when considering how they should approach a preventative strategy to promote longterm health and overall welling. I believe that good health is earned. It requires discipline and at times, a guiding compass, that can help establish where to place your resources - time, money, and effort. By helping you create a personalized, proactive, risk-adjusted and strategically sound approach to your health, we can not only improve the quality of life today and into the future, but may very well extend the time you have on this earth to be with those you hold dear to your heart .
The practice of medicine has evolved over many years. In the past century or so, medicine has discovered innumerable ways to address our health threats once established, using medications and/or procedures to cure (at best) or slow (more likely) the progression of disease. Although such an approach may ward off death, it does not always maintain the quality of life most of us desire. In addition, it fails to consider the fact that our population statistics and projections utilized to initiate preventative care measures may not fully take into consideration your own personal patient concerns or apply directly to your situation. That is where a more nuanced, patient-specific, risk-adjusted approach to care comes into play.
After a decade in the emergency department, I became frustrated by the fact that most of my patients were either disinterested, uninformed, or disheartened by the thought of taking a more aggressive approach to creating and maintaining good health. Most commonly, I meet people long after they have been afflicted with high blood pressure, insulin resistance and diabetes, cognitive decline or physical debility. Those diagnoses take their toll long before manifesting themselves as “real” problems like heart attacks, strokes, or some other form of disability.
In my role as an emergency physician, I have been blessed with the opportunity to prevent acute progression of such diseases to a more serious outcome. But I have also lost that battle far too often. My heart breaks for the families ripped apart by the seemingly unexpected (but potentially avoidable) loss of life from the often silent disease processes lurking in the background.
With that in mind, I decided that it was time to engage people long before such tragedy would strike. In 2023, with the support of my wife and a number of good friends and mentors, that notion gave rise to what is now High Resolution Health. Since its inception, I have now been serving as a concierge health and wellness physician, tailoring our interactions in a way that promotes longevity, both in the sense of improving quality of life and hopefully extending that life by warding off the potential dangerous fates that many of my patients have failed to consider. Together, my patients and I have created something we call the #HiResLife (a way of life that is predicated on having a crystal clear vision of what matters most and an unwavering commitment to winning the long game).
My passion today lies in preventing (or at the very least mitigating) the development of these life-altering illnesses that have taken so many of our loved ones too early. As a result, I have developed a process that proactively engages my patients and allows us to serve as their compass on this journey to optimal health and wellness.
Using a detailed data collection method that explores what is most likely to afflict yourself and your loved ones, we can develop a personalized, proactive, and progressive care plan that puts your physical and emotional wellness into focus.
We will create a tactical approach built to withstand the most common threats to our own longevity while arming you with a comprehensive strategy that is tailored to your own personal values and beliefs. In doing so, we will help you live not only longer, but in a way that few 80 or 90 year old patients today are able to accomplish.
If you are contemplating what life will look like in your 50s, 60s, or even 80s and now realize it is time to take control of the narrative, reach out today and discover how High Resolution Health will help you achieve that vision!
Your first step to better health is just one phone call away.

Clients who decide to proceed will need to complete a digital information packet prior to our consultation. A week or two lead time is often needed for each client to obtain accurate and detailed information. This information will help us formulate a plan of care that is tailored specifically to address your own physical/metabolic health as well as overall mental wellbeing. Utilizing a number of adjunctive therapies and activities, this plan is designed to be adaptive, allowing adjustments in strategy and tactics based on various physiologic and metabolic measurements monitored throughout the process.
